Outstanding and yet one with the surrounding
The Great Stump in the middle of the forest is Lamminrahka's new landmark. It is distinguished from afar. Extensive light openings in the middle of the hull bring daylight to the deep mass of the Great Kanto. Under these, in the middle of the light, the students come together.
The placement of the building mass in the southeast corner of the plot makes it possible between a large yard area and its division between special functions. It is possible to arrive at the plot from any direction due to several transport connections. Parking spaces and maintenance and loading traffic are safely located away from light traffic in the northern and eastern part of the site. Bicycle shelters on the southern border of the plot as well as on the north side of the building form a sheltered courtyard area together with the wooded trees of the northern part. However, the partially open visual connections of the bicycle canopies, as well as the transport connections, connect the sheltered yard to its surroundings.
Outdoor spaces made of wood and made of natural surface materials that support learning and leisure and are attractive for movement are partly divided into age groups and seamlessly combine with the sports park.
