MIKKO
Hey! My name is Mikko Keskinen. I am a newly graduated construction architecture from Tampere University of Applied Sciences. My years of schoolwork has consisted of drafting concepts, planning of holiday homes, detached houses, nursery design, apartment buildings and zoning plans. I still have a lot to learn for my last year. During my last year at school I had a chance to specialize in topic of energy efficiency as well as renovation.
In my plans, I focus mainly on three parts: the client's needs and wishes, the environmental impact and my own creativity. I love the Scandinavian style for its practical yet simple aesthetic. These characteristics can be found in all of my work.
Previously, I worked as a trainee at Sweco Rakennetekniikka Oy in city of Tampere since November 2019. Now I work there full time as construction architect. My main area of expertise is relocatable temporary facilities. The projects are mainly schools, kindergarten and office buildings.

I also run a small side-business company where I take order from various city planning department from different cities. The works consist of site plans or extention of already exsisting build or entirely new building.
Bedore I got to work in the field of architecture I worked for Inwidoor Oy as a product designer and before that I worked in window&door production and the reclamation department at the company for six summers and one full year. The Inwidoor Group is one of the largest window and door manufacturers in Finland.

As a newly graduated construction architect I do not have the permittion by the law and regulations to sign any building as my own design even if I design the entire building by myself. So at the moment my official role is an assisting architectural designer untill I get enough cridential and experience after two years of graduation.
